Maria Teresa Facchinetti
Nata a Roma, Maria Teresa è un architetto con licenza italiana e newyorkese. Laureata presso la facoltà di architettura consegue la Specializzazione in Bio Architectura presso l'Università “La Sapienza” di Roma e un Master in Environmental Planning presso il Pratt Insitute di New York. Si trasferisce a Londra e successivamente a New York per dieci anni dove lavora come architetto progettista per Kiss+Cathcart architects leader in Sustainable and Productive Integrated Architecture. Maria Teresa è una professionista grintosa con spiccata capacità di problem solving e creatività oltre che una solida esperienza tecnica e progettuale internazionale. Progettista e coordinatore della sicurezza nei cantieri, segue l'evoluzione del progetto dall'idea iniziale alla fase di realizzazione e si occupa di tutti gli aspetti progettuali con particolare attenzione ai materiali e ai dettagli. Appassionata di musica, psicologia e yoga è responsabile insieme a Luigi della clientela internazionale.

Born in Rome, Maria Teresa Facchinetti is a registered architect in Italy and in New York State. She received a Master degree in Architecture and a post-degree specialization in Eco-Architecture from the University “La Sapienza” of Rome and a Master degree in Environmental System Management from the Pratt Institute of New York. Currently based in Rome, she lived first in London and then in New York for ten years where she worked as project architect for Kiss+Cathcart architect a leading firm in Sustainable and Productive Integrated Architecture. Maria Teresa is an architect with strong problem solving skills, creativity as well as a solid international technical and design experience. She closely follows the evolution of the project from the initial idea trough construction and deals with all design and construction aspects with a particular attention to materials and details. She loves music, psychology, yoga and with together with Luigi she is responsible for the international clientele.

L'intervento consiste nella ristrutturazione totale di un ampio appartamento che viene suddiviso in due unità autonome. L'unità "padronale" viene rimodulata con l'inserimento di un'ampia cucina con isola ed apertura verso il soggiorno. Nella zona notte vengono realizzate due ampie camere e due bagni. Le finiture prevedono il mantenimento del pavimento originario in marmo nella zona giorno e la collocazione di un nuovo pavimento in ceramica nella zona notte, con colorazioni congrue con il pavimento preesistente. Il rinnovo prevede il rifacimento completo degli impianti ed interventi di isolamento dell'involucro edilizio, atti a garantire l'efficientamento energetico dell'immobile e il raggiungimento della migliore classe energetica. L'illuminazione viene progettata garantendo la diffusione della luce con gole luminose e l'illuminazione del dettaglio ove necessario.

This is about the total renovation of a large apartment which is divided into two autonomous units. The "master" unit is remodeled with the inclusion of a large kitchen with island and opening towards the living room. In the sleeping area two large bedrooms and two bathrooms are built. The finishes include the maintenance of the original marble floor in the living area and the placement of a new ceramic floor in the sleeping area, with colors matching the existing floor. The renewal provides for the complete renovation of the systems and interventions of insulation of the building envelope, aimed at guaranteeing the energy efficiency of the property and the achievement of the best energy class. The lighting is designed to guarantee the diffusion of light with luminous grooves and the illumination of the detail where necessary.
